At Helm Academy we are committed to supporting our parents and carers to safeguard our pupils and young people at all times to the highest standards of care. Helm Academy provides full hot and cold school lunches on site, for all pupils from a multiple-choice menu every day at no cost to pupils. Pupils may choose to bring their own lunches if they wish.
We provide a free of charge school uniform with Helm Academy Logo for all pupils when they first start at the school. A uniform with a logo is not a requirement, however pupils are required to wear attire in line with the school dress code.
Pupils are not required to bring any personal equipment to school, as we will provide all of the items that they will need. If they wish to bring any personal equipment they may do so, but this will be at their own risk.
Mobile phones are not permitted in school and must be handed in at the school office at the start of the day to be locked away until the end of the school day when they will be handed back to the individual pupils. Pupils will not be permitted to enter the building until their phone has been handed over.
